Safer Grassroots Sports Joins SAFE HARBOUR Project

The Safer Grassroots Sports Project (GRASS) held its 4th Full Partner Meeting in Ghent, Belgium, reinforcing its commitment to the goals of the project up on going until the end of 2025.
The two-day event, hosted by SportIEQ, focused on project updates, management and communication, and most importantly the state of the art for Safe Sport self-assessment tool, led by Qantara Sports and Safe Sport digital toolkit, led by SportIEQ, both tools designed to support grassroots sport organisations enhancing their safeguarding policies.
In this view, partners had the opportunity to test and provide comprehensive feedback to improve project tools, ensuring they meet the needs of sport organisations in Albania, Bulgaria, Portugal, and Slovenia.
Day 2 emphasised evaluation planning and workshop coordination, with productive discussions taking place considering methodology and further strategies for delivering high quality upcoming national workshops.
The meeting concluded with preparations for future initiatives, notably partners’ national events and project final conference.
