
Third National Event of the GRASS Project in Slovenia
October 27, 2025The Ministry of Youth and Sport of Bulgaria hosted the National Event of the Safer Grassroots Sport (GRASS) project in Sofia, marking the fourth and final national activity before the upcoming GRASS Final Conference in Lisbon.
The event gathered around 50 participants, including representatives of national sport federations, secondary sport schools, and the National Sport Academy “Vasil Levski”.
Among the attendees were the three Bulgarian pilot sport clubs that participated in the GRASS workshop, held in May, and have been testing and implementing project tools since then.

The project coordination team was also present to share the progress achieved under the project, alongside representatives of the Bulgarian Ministry of Youth and Sport, the project’s national partner.
Additionally, representatives from the State Agency for Child Protection attended the event, where they presented the National Child Helpline and explained the existing reporting mechanism for cases of violence against children in sport.
This fourth national GRASS event reflected the strong engagement and positive outcomes achieved by Bulgaria throughout the project’s implementation. With all national events now successfully concluded, the focus turns to the GRASS European Final Conference, which will take place on 20 November 2025 at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of Portugal!
